Who is Dr. Botte?
Dr. Gerardine Botte is one of the world’s foremost experts in electrochemistry and electrolysis. She has over 26 years of experience in the development of electrochemical processes as they relate to the intersection of energy, water, and food sustainability. Her expertise has allowed her to author 232 publications and including the development of 63 patents. Currently, she works as a Professor and Whitacre Endowed Chair in Sustainable Energy at Texas Tech University (TTU) and as the Founding Director of the National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center for Advancing Sustainable and Distributed Fertilizer Production (CASFER).
